Potential & Faith

lightbulb-potential-1

Potential as defined by dictionary.com is, “capable of being or becoming.” Potential is what you are capable of doing but is not yet in existence. Notice, you are CAPABLE of doing whatever it is yet you ain’t.
I wonder how much potential, dreams, visions, and goals are lying dormant or dead in us.
We often hear people say or tell us that we should die empty without any potential left in us. This is correct, you gotta use up everything here on earth.
Great men are not born, they are made when they use their potentials.

Ephesians 2:10 (NLT) says, “For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.”

Jeremiah 1:5 also tells us that we have been set apart and chosen by God. However, it’s one thing to be equipped with potential and another to use them. It’s one thing to be called and set apart and another to live in one’s calling.
Think about where you’ll be now if you had tapped into the God-given potential in you and use it to the fullest.

Don’t settle for less. You are greatly equipped. Don’t allow people or circumstances to define you. Don’t even define yourself. Allow God to define you.
To fully use your potential you are gonna need a lot of faith. You might not see the result immediately but keep pressing on. Cherish the small beginnings. They will come together someday. A baby doesn’t grow into an adult in a day.

If you have faith and believe, everything is possible for you, says Jesus (Mark 9:23). No limits. God has not placed a limit on us, don’t allow anyone or yourself to confine your potential. God created us to grow and expand exceedingly.
