Trust God!

Are you worried?

Are you frustrated about something?
Did you find a solution yet?

If not, I want to propose a solution.

Here is the solution: TRUST GOD.

Yep, that’s it. Trust God.

A wise man once said, “worrying shows how little we trust God.”

I want to encourage you to read Matthew 6: 26-34.

You are valued by Abba Father but do you know that?
Do you seek him everyday?
Is He first in your life?
Or do you try to control everything and go to Him as a last resort when you’re all exhausted?
Go to Him first!

I had to realize that I actually have ZERO control over my life. I thought I did.  Like many of us,  I try to control things as much as possible and trust in my own finite understanding.  But I’m starting to realize after a look back over my life that – the places I’ve been, the people I’ve met, the things I have done and more, were not because I controlled them, it was all GOD.

Many of us have a life like the book of Esther. Even though God might not be obviously mentioned in your life or you don’t think He is in control, He actually is. He is in perfect control.

He has gotten you where you are today, why do you think He will stop now?

We are called believers but we rarely believe.
We are called to live by faith but we live with our physical sight and feelings.

What has Abba Father not done for you?
What exactly?!

One of my favorite verses that comforts me says,

Romans 8:32
He did not even spare his own Son but gave him up for us all. How will he not also with him grant us everything?

Remember,  you only have TODAY, not tomorrow. Because even when tomorrow gets here, it will be another TODAY.

Mathew 6: 34 says
“Therefore don’t worry about tomorrow, because tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble  of its own.”

It is the pride in us that makes us think that we have tomorrow unfailingly.  No! We wake up each day because Abba Father wills.

Count your blessings.
Put your worries aside.
Be thankful for what you have today.
Make your request known to him with thanksgiving.
Keep your peace and joy.
Seek him and watch him provide.
TRUST GOD.

You might say, well trusting God won’t pay my bills, put food on my table, etc.
But has WORRY served you better?
And even if it does, for how long will you continue this way?
Worrying is never a solution.

Trust God!

Abraham, our father of faith,  was told by God to sacrifice is son whom he got at a very old age.  But he didn’t question God. Early the next day he got up, took his son and set out to sacrifice him.
His son asked him about the ram for the sacrifice and he said, “God will provide.”

Can we emulate such faith and trust in God?

Later we are told in the book of Hebrews that he trusted that God could raise his son even if he sacrificed him.

Without faith, we can’t please God.

Abba needs your trust and faith.

Faith looks attractive on you to Abba Father.

One more thing: TRUST God’s response. The response might not be what you want or might not come how you want it or when you want it.
Trust him still.

Finally,  trust and faith in God is ACTIVE. You don’t trust God and wait on him passively.  Put in some work. Faith without works is dead (Read James 2:14-26).

Don’t be found laying around and saying, “Oh, I’m just waiting on God.” Don’t do that. Do something.  Go to that job. If don’t have look for one. Serve and be of help somewhere. And keep your faith in God.

God bless.
You are Eternally Loved.
