INVITATION

INVITATION

One of the purposes of this ministry is to save more souls for Christ and bring more people into God’s eternal family. Hence, if you are yet to be saved, we hope and pray that you will believe in the gospel of our Lord Jesus and be saved.

Are you wondering what is salvation? What does it mean to be saved? And why do I need to be saved?

Please take a few minutes to read this post to get answers to your questions then come back here. Click here.

How do I get saved?

All you have to do is believe in the gospel of Jesus Christ.

What is the gospel?

The gospel means good news. So there is a lot of good news out there. But you must believe in the gospel (good news) of Jesus Christ to be saved.

What is the good news of Jesus Christ?

1 Corinthians 15:1-4 amongst other scriptures such as Romans 10:9-10, John 3:14-16, etc., tells us about the good news of JesusChrist.

1 Corinthians 15: 1-4

Now, brothers and sisters, I want to remind you of the gospel. I preached to you, which you received and on which you have taken your stand. By this gospel, you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain.

For what I received, I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures.

So based on the above scripture, we can confidently say that the gospel (good news) of Jesus Christ that we ought to believe in and be saved by is : that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures.

Romans 10:9-10

If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.

John 3:14-16

Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the wilderness, so the Son of Man must be lifted up, that everyone who believes may have eternal life in him.”16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

So, you see darling that to be saved all you need to do is BELIEVE.

Believe in what or who?

Believe in Jesus. Believe that he is the son of God and he died for your sins, was buried and was raised on the third day for your justification.

That is all you need to do to be saved.

Jesus finished the work of our salvation, redemption, forgiveness, and reconciliation to the Father on the cross. We don’t need to clean up ourselves, change our ways or earn our way into heaven.

All that is needed of us is to BELIEVE in the finished work of Christ on the cross and in his resurrection.

I know it sounds extremely simple and somewhat foolish and you may think you ought to do more than “believe” to be saved. But fortunately, all we need do is believe.

No more no less.

If you have decided to make Jesus Christ, the only Son of God and the only way to the father, your LORD, AND SAVIOR, please say this prayer below;

“Lord God, I am deeply sorry for my sins, I acknowledge that I have lived for myself all this while. I come before your throne of infinite mercy today and ask for your forgiveness and grace in the name of your son, Jesus Christ. Dear Jesus Christ, I believe that you died for my sins, you were buried and you rose again on the third day for my justification. Come into my life and take residence. Fill me with your Holy Spirit that I may know and do your will. AMEN.

If you prayed that prayer sincerely and believed.

Congratulations and Welcome to God’s family.

Salvation is yours. You are saved and eternal life is yours. Believe it.

It is a great joy and happiness to have another sister or brother in the Lord. We want you to know that there is rejoicing in heaven for your sake right now. Welcome once again!

Now that I am saved. What is next?

I am so glad you asked. Salvation is the first step, but it is not the end. Discipleship follows. As a new member of God’s family, you have to grow and do the will of your Father (God).

  • Get baptized as commanded by Christ – this is your proclamation and advertisement to the world that you now belong to God, and you are a member of his family.
  • Tell someone else about your new faith in Christ; you are going to need all the support and help you can get. Don’t be ashamed of your faith! (you can tell us🤗)
  • Spend time with God and constantly talk to him through studying the Bible and prayers. – God wants to speak to you; he wants to know how much you love the new family, and he is willing to answer any questions you have.
  • Fellowship with other members of God’s family. Spend time with true Christian friends who can help you grow in your relationship with God. It might be time to let go of some old friends who will hinder your growth in Christ.
  • Find a local church where you can worship God and serve him. You can’t love and accept Jesus as your lord and savior and hate his body (the church). Jesus loves the church so much; he gave his life for it. So, finding and belonging to a local church is paramount!

You can also get in touch with us if you need help in your new faith in Christ. We will be more than happy to help you and provide you with resources that have helped us and We believe will also help you to grow in your relationship with God.
