#TTTwithGGEF Grace without truth is as empty and vain as faith without work. __ Grace is an unmerited, unworthy, undeserving favor of God to us. Through the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, abundant grace is freely available unto us. We do not and cannot earn it. __ However, are you aware that it isn’t just grace that Jesus came to give unto us? John 1: 17 says, “For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.” __ Jesus also came to give us the truth. The whole world is blind and deceived by the devil (Revelation 12:9). __ Thus, it is God’s will that we will come to the knowledge of the TRUTH through the Holy Spirit, who is the spirit of truth, who dwells in us that we may be guided into all truth (John 16:13). __ Why then do many not know the truth? Why do we only preach about grace but neglect the truth? You see the devil isn't bothered when grace is preached but he is severely bothered when we begin to open blinded eyes and ears with the truth. __ Jesus Christ is both grace and truth. We can’t decide to only get one part of Him and neglect the other part. To truly enjoy GRACE, you must come to the knowledge of the TRUTH by studying the word of God and walking with the Holy Spirit. __ There is this great power in truth that grace alone can’t offer. The great power of truth is FREEDOM. Truth yields freedom. It frees us from the chains of sin and our past. __ You must get the full package. The Bible says in John 8:32, that we shall know the truth and the truth shall set us FREE. __ This is why many Christians whom grace has been freely given cannot truly embrace it. Because they are still bounded by the chains of sins and the lies of the enemy. They are yet to come to the knowledge of the TRUTH. __ The truth about who God is, how much God loves them, who they are in Christ Jesus, how freely forgiven they are, thus, they cannot forgive themselves and see the abundant grace of God. They are so blinded they can’t see the grace of God. __ Truth frees us so we can FULLY enjoy and bask in the extravagant and abounding grace of God. #GrowingGodsEternalFamily
Happy New week Eternal Family. Hope our week is going great? _____ Here's a new blog post by one of our Spirit-filled contributor @ifesweerie She takes on a journey to examine ourselves. In the story of Cain and Abel, Cain was the unaccepted brother who ended up killing his brother. ____ But, have you ever wondered why Cain wasn't accepted? Ever found yourself asking the same questions about why you weren't accepted for that job? why didn't you get that promotion? Why your friend was chosen and you weren't? ______ Then you need to check out this blog post. Follow the link in bio or below to read and share. God bless. _____ https://growinggodseternalfamily.com/2018/04/17/why-not-cain/ _____ #GrowingGodsEternalFamily #GGEF
In the world we live in, it is extremely easy to become ungrateful and always complaining, comparing our lives to others, always wanting and wishing we had more and never thankful for what we have. It is easy to look at someone else's life and covet what they have. Instead of looking at our life and seeing the abundance that we have. ___ When we focus on other's blessings we miss the abundance of God's blessings in our lives. ___ Don't be a complainer. Thank God for the car you have, it might not be the latest model or a luxurious car, but be thankful that you have a means of transportation. Thank God for your house. It might not be a mansion with many rooms and yard like someone else's, but you have a place to live with your family and lay to sleep. You might not be able to afford to eat at a restaurant and have a buffet but you are not hungry. You might not have a walking closet full of designers, but you are not naked, you have clothes to wear. God provides. ____ So, let us be appreciative and be thankful for the little we have instead of complaining. Let's always find a reason to be grateful to God, because there's always a reason. ____ Only those who think deeply and look beyond their present "situation" truly know and appreciate the blessings of God. If the deaf thinks deep enough, he will be thankful because some are dead. For when there's life, there's hope. So let's be thankful for each day, for the gift of life, safety, family and more. ____ We must stop complaining about what we don't have and be thankful for what we do have. And if we look hard enough, we have a lot more than we realize to be thankful for. God is faithful 🙌🙌 His Mercies are new every morning, endures forever and exceeds our expectations. ____ #Stopcomparingyourlifetoothers #Bethankfulforyourportion #Thankfulforeachday #ThankGodforLife #TTTwithGGEF #GrowingGodsEternalFamily #GGEF
#NEWBLOGPOST #LINKINBIO Happy Good Monday, Eternal Family! In the era we are today, social media is so powerful that it can demoralize you if not careful and if you know who you are, it makes no difference to you. We must get our priorities right. Are you after likes/followers on Instagram and other social media platforms or are you there to inspire, encourage, share God’s word and bless others through your posts? Will you continue to share God word, spread His Love and live for Him even if you ain’t praised for it but persecuted for it? Follow the #Linkinbio or below to read more and be blessed. ____ https://growinggodseternalfamily.com/2018/04/02/god-or-men-applause/
"But God released him from the horrors of death and raised him back to life, for death could not keep him in its grip. Now, O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?" Our Saviour is Risen and Alive. ___ May the resurrection of Jesus, resurrect and bring alive anything dead in your life. May you experience the redemptive power of God through Christ Jesus. ___ Because He lives, we live. Halleluayah 🙌 ___ #HappyEaster #HappyRessurectionSunday #GrowingGodsEternalFamily #GGEF
My ethnic (Yoruba) people will say, "He who doesn't show gratitude for yesterday's favors won't receive another one." ___ The word, "Thank you" goes a long way with one another. How much more when we show our gratitude to God. God isn't asking you for a payback for His grace and favors, neither is He asking for an ungrateful heart. ___ We shouldn't take God's blessings for granted. Waking up, moving out of your bed, going to work or school and coming back safely, food to eat, water to drink, and so much more we take for granted are things we should be grateful for daily. It shouldn't be difficult for us to pause and say, "Thank you, God." ___ Oh how much God loves a grateful heart!❤️ _____ So if you haven't thanked Him today, take a moment to praise Him and thank Him for all He has done, is doing and will do. For in all circumstances, we should give thanks. #TTTwithGGEF #ThankfulThursday #AllthanksandallglorytoGOD
