We are all quite familiar with the story of the prodigal son. The son who went away from home squandered his inheritance but came back home.
The Bible tells us in, Luke 15:17, “When he finally came to his SENSES, he said to himself, ‘At home, even the hired men have food enough and to spare, and here I am, dying of hunger!”
It is time for you to come back to your senses. Why eat with the pigs in a foreign land when you can come back home and eat comfortably in your father’s house?
The pigs love their food and love to wallow in the mud even if you give them gold or pearls, they will still rub it in the mud (Matthew 7:6).
You are not a pig, but the longer you stay with the pigs, you will get used to their food, it will begin to taste good and look good to you and you might not want to leave.
That is exactly how the world is, it draws you in and what is evil begins to look good to you, you start getting comfortable and you slowly forget your identity.
We might say the prodigal son was a bad son, he, however, did something that many prodigal sons and daughter in the world are yet to do. He RETURNED to his Father. He came back home.
See how much the father loves us dearly. He gave His son for us. And the Word tells us in 1John 1:9, “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.”
And like the prodigal son, you shall be welcomed back home with great joy and rejoicing. God Bless.

You know the feeling i got while reading, is a reflect on those few minutes i just swayed away from the father, those tiny moments really counts too. Afterwards i just feel bad and hate myself, struggling to go back. But Thanks for this word.
