Be Thankful & Stop Complaining

thankful
In the world we live in, it is extremely easy to become ungrateful, always complaining, comparing our lives to others, always wanting and wishing we had more and never thankful for what we have.
It is easy to look at someone else’s life and covet what they have rather than looking at our lives and seeing the abundance that we have.
When we focus on other’s blessings we miss the abundance of God’s blessings in our lives.

Don’t be a complainer. Thank God for the car you have, it might not be the latest model or a luxurious car, but be thankful that you have a means of transportation.
Thank God for your house. It might not be a mansion with many rooms and yard like someone else’s, but you have a place to live with your family, make memories and lay to sleep.
You might not be able to afford to eat at a restaurant and have a feast but you are not hungry. You might not have a walking closet full of designers, but you are not naked, you have clothes to wear. God provides.
So, let us be appreciative and be thankful for the little we have instead of complaining. Let’s always find a reason to be grateful to God, because there’s always a reason.

Only those who think deeply and look beyond their present “situation” truly know and appreciate the blessings of God __Tope Alabi

If the deaf thinks deep enough, he will be thankful because some are dead. For when there’s life, there’s hope. So let’s be thankful for each day, for the gift of life, safety, family and more.
We must stop complaining about what we don’t have and be thankful for what we do have. And if we look hard enough, we have a lot more than we realize to be thankful for. God is faithful. His Mercies are new every morning, endures forever and exceeds our expectations.

God bless.
