JESUS CHRIST: The only true source of freedom from racism

It is for freedom that Christ Jesus has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery _ Galatians 5:1

The only true source of freedom from racism is Jesus Christ.

Men can’t give us freedom. We can’t keep waiting for the world to hand us the freedom we desire. MLK’s speech, “I have a dream.”  was good but it wasn’t great. It failed to point people to the one who is the true source of freedom. The one who already made our dreams a reality. The one who already won us freedom about 2000 years ago. The one who was beaten, imprisoned and humiliated so we wouldn’t need to go through any of that. The one who possesses true freedom. JESUS!

We must come to the knowledge of the truth that true freedom is found only in JESUS.

In Jesus, we realize who we truly are.

In Jesus, we find and know our worth

In Jesus, we are free even when bound

In Jesus, we are not slaves to racism but to God.

We’ve been talking about the fact that racism stems from deception and a heart full of hate. And the Bible emphasizes in Matthew 24: 12 that in the last days, “because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.” This tells us that hate is going to abound in the heart of man because the enemy is still deceiving so many in the world.

Thus, I hate to burst your bubbles but if you are sitting and waiting that maybe ONE DAY, racism will go away or hoping that someday MLK’s dream will become a reality, then you are deceived.

It’s going nowhere.

Jesus is the real deal. He is the free-flowing fountain of true freedom

Instead, you and I need to open our eyes and see that Jesus already brought us all the freedom we need. You need not wait till the heart of all men is filled with love. You can start enjoying that freedom NOW.

I refuse to be a prisoner of racism. I am a free woman in Christ Jesus. The moment you blame everything that happens in your life to racism and the color of your skin, you are worshipping it and giving it so much attention. You are making it an idol, your god. But you see, I don’t serve two masters.

I only have ONE GOD, the one whose abode is heaven, the one who came and died for my sin, overcame death and all bondages,  so I can be free from petty bandages like racism. So, I don’t go around calling myself a black woman,   embracing the labels, the negativity that comes with it, and attributing every bad thing in my life to racism. I am a FREE woman and everything that happens in my life is controlled by God. Even the bad things, because all things are work together for my good. God will never hurt me. I trust Him with my life.

I don’t care how racist a company is, if my God wants me to work there, I will get that job. For I know that nothing is impossible with God. He is the creator of the world and has power over all His creations even the ones that are filled with hate and deception. If I don’t get the job, then it’s because God doesn’t want me there NOT due to racism or “because I am black.”

Our focus should be on Jesus (God), not racism.

But when we allow racism to be our god. Oh, we are in trouble. Racism doesn’t have our best interest in mind. It’s gonna destroy our dreams, steals our joy and if not careful, it will kill/destroy us.

Jesus says in John 10: 9 – 10I am the gate. Those who come in by me will be saved; they will come in and go out and find pasture. The thief comes only in order to steal, kill, and destroy. I have come in order that you might have life—life in all its fullness.”

The enemy (devil) has only come to steal, kill and destroy us with his tricks such as hate, racism, prejudice, and many more wicked ways he has planted in the hearts of man.

But Jesus came so we can have life in full. Life abundantly.

And you can start enjoying that NOW.

Racism is just a lie in fear of you coming to the knowledge of the truth of the source of your freedom.

The world and the men in it won’t hand you freedom from racism because it benefits them. It makes them feel good and superior. So, your freedom will never come from them. NEVER.

The enemy wants you to continue believing that you need to keep fighting for your freedom and dreaming for one. That is a big lie from the pit of hell. Your freedom is already here. It has always been here. Which is why you must know the truth. You will be amazed to know that the enemy has been deceiving you your whole life.

John 8:32, 36 says, “you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free…  So if the Son (Jesus) sets you free, you will be free indeed.”

Knowing the truth about something frees and liberate you. You’ve got to realize that racism is just a lie in fear of you coming to the knowledge of the truth of the source of your freedom. Because that truth will free you from its claws and bondage.

To fully enjoy and partake in the freedom Jesus gives, we simply have to believe in Him, accept Him into our lives and allow Him to be the Lord of our lives. I guaranteed you 100% satisfaction. Jesus is tasted and trusted. If you are already a saved Christain but yet to realize the freedom that is yours in Jesus, I pray that every scales, lies and deception fall and see the truth and freedom in Jesus. Please study the Bible and absorb all the truth in His word. The more truth you have in your heart, you will be able to refute every arrow of lies, deception, and bondage the enemy throws at you.

And if you are yet to accept the salvation and freedom of Jesus and you are ready to make Him the Lord of your life, please say the prayer below or visit our invitation page.

“Dear Jesus Christ, I have come to realize that I need you in my life, I believe that you came to give me life and died for my sins because of your love for me. Lord, I turn from my sins today and ask that you give me your life and be my Lord. Come into my life, take residence and become the center of my life. AMEN.”
