I see many princes and princesses of God still living, acting and talking like slaves.
Some Christians take offense to how a fellow Christian is modestly and elegantly dressed. “You shouldn’t have that much makeup on or that expensive outfit on as a Christian”
Why is it okay for an unbeliever to dress nicely but for a Christian whose father is the king of all kings, the creator of the world to dress in rags?
Many are still being held in the bondage of religion. I believe God wants you to look good and slay. Yes, slay! A royal has got to slay.
When you know and operate in your identity as a Child of God it changes how you live your life, in all areas. In your self-care, speech, confidence, career, relationships, etc.
Unfortunately many are still living like slaves. This reminds me of the prodigal son’s brother in Luke 15:29. The brother was in the house with the father but he said to his father “Look all these years I’ve been SLAVING for you and never disobeyed your orders. Yet you never gave me even a young goat so I could celebrate with my friends.” He said “I have been SLAVING for you” He saw himself as a slave even though he was right under his FATHER’S care.
Many Christians, despite being in the church sees themselves as slaves and work as slaves, not as a child of God. They’ve got religion instead of a relationship with God.
The FATHER responded in vs 31, “MY SON, you are always with me and everything I have is yours.”
The father reminded him of his identity. “You are a son and you are a daughter.”
God wills that you prosper in all your ways and that your life will reflect His grace and glory. You’ve gotta glow and slay like the prince and princess that you are.
You are Eternal Loved
