First Year Anniversary & First Book Release

Wow! I can’t believe it’s been a year already since Growing God’s Eternal Family started. Feels just like yesterday when I wrote my first blog post and here we are. 

Honestly, I don’t know what to say. I am excited and really overwhelmed. But I must give thanks to God almighty. None of this would have been possible without Him. I am here today because of Him and this ministry exist because of Him and for Him. Thank you, God. 

I also want to thank each and every one of you who take your time to read my blog posts. Though I might not know you are, I appreciate you all and you are always in my prayers. Thanks for your support, your encouraging comments and prayers. God bless you all. 

I also want to use this moment to encourage someone out there. Has God called you to do something and you are dragging and feeling unqualified? Or worried about what people will say or think? Then, this is for you. Step out in faith! I say this because I was where you are a year ago. In fact, exactly on this date last year (August 25, 2016) after writing my first post and as I place the cursor over the “publish” button, I was still feeling unqualified. I felt I wasn’t a writer, my English composition is terrible with so many grammatical errors (which is still there), I am extremely shy, and so many other flaws about me. But, I had faith. Faith that God who has placed this desire and ministry in my heart will continue to work with me till the very end. And He still is. He never let me go. 

If I hadn’t press that publish button on that day, we wouldn’t be celebrating the first year anniversary of this ministry today and that would have been a great regret. So, stop procrastinating, stop worrying about people, don’t trust in your abilities and inabilities but in GOD. Don’t be scared to reach out to people who are more experienced than you are and more matured spiritually. Ask for help. Don’t be an island. Grow together with other members of God’s family and rely totally on God. You will be amazed at where you a year from now. 

 

And, I who didn’t feel qualified enough to be a blogger, a writer or an author, wrote my first book which releases today. All the glory to my God.
