There’s something about being a child of God. Its fullest power is in understanding how perfectly known and loved you are.
It’s so shortsighted when we look at another person’s life and think, “God, must really love them more than he loves me” because of the tangible things we see Him do.
But do you wanna see how God really loves you? Look at Jesus.
I mean it literally. I want to challenge you to take some time to read through the first 4 books of the New Testament.
I know you’ve read it before.
But this time, read to SEE the LOVE between God, the Father & God, the Son (Jesus). Guess what, you are a son, too. You are co-heirs with Christ.
Pay close attention to what the Son says about the Father. Pay attention to their relationship. Pay attention to how much the Son desired fellowship with his Father & would go away to pray. Pay attention to how much the Son wanted to do the will of His Father for the sake of his lost brothers/sisters & to the glory of the Father.
Pay attention to how a loved Son lives (This might be strange to you because you weren’t loved growing up, but you can learn first hand from the begotten Son of God, your brother, the firstborn. Let him teach you how much your heavenly Father loves you. Pick up your Bible and go on a journey that will begin a transformation in your life).
Take time to see Jesus live the way you should live and more in the 4 gospel books.
This is a TRUTH: Abba loves you just as much as He loves Jesus. And the knowledge of that love surpasses understanding.
You truly will never be more loved by God than you are loved right now.
Because He already loves you with the whole of himself, and that’s boundless.
You are a beloved child of Abba.
